Been very busy over the last few months. Here is the results of my hard work. Where to start???? hmmm There are 2 stair step cards with lots of embellishes. Birthday cake candle and melted snowman candle.

My favorite by far is the glass in the middle. It is a simple wine glass turned upside down with a scene inside. Topped with a battery operated candle on top. so much fun and easy to make.

Last but not least the mini trees in the back. Not sure if I really like them but again they add a nice touch to my counter.

*When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered which is the freshest, so you "squeeze" for freshness or softness. Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has a different color twist tie. They are: Monday - Blue; Tuesday - Green; Thursday - Red; Friday - White; Saturday - Yellow. So if today was Thursday, you would want red twist tie - not white which is Fridays (almost a week old)! The colors go alphabetically by color Blue - Green - Red - White - Yellow, Monday through Saturday. Very easy to remember. I thought this was interesting. I looked in the grocery store and the bread wrappers DO have different twist ties, and even the one with the plastic clips have different colors. You learn something new everyday!!! Enjoy fresh bread when you buy bread with the right color on the day you are shopping.

Sudden Death

The weather is rainy and cold in WI. I decided to make some brownies. I have purchased Betty Crocker shake and pour brownies, just add water. How simple and fast is that? I uses a 9 x 13 pan. When it was done baking I thought that's kinda dull. This is where the doctoring began!

I added frosting with caramel flavor (frosting creations package). Then tossed a few caramel bits and chopped pecans on top. Still looked normal.....

I then made rice crispie treats using frosted rice crispies. Added on top of the brownie mix. I then topped that with the rest of the caramel frosting. Drizzled chocolate sauce on top.

I must say WOW! It is amazing

1 bottle shake n pour brownies
1 can whipped frosting
1 package caramel frosting creations
1/2 cup caramel bits
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3/4 box frosted rice crispies
1 package marshmallows

1. Add water to brownie mix and shake. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. (If you want thicker brownies use 8 x 8 pan). Bake 350degrees for 20 mins. Cool completely
2. Mix favor package to frosting. Be sure ti stir well
3. Top brownies with frosting. Reserve 1/2 frosting for later use.
4. Sprinkle caramel bits and pecans on top of frosting. (option you could add these to the actual brownie mix)
5. Make rice crispies and place on top of the brownie creation
6. Frost with the remaining frosting and drizzle with chocolate sauce

Halloween Frame Art

I used a combination of carts for this project. October 31, Mini Monsters and Paper Doll Dress up.
I started with the house cut at 11.5 and let my imagination take over from there. I do not remember the exact sizes for everything. I think it turned out rather well.

Baby album

This is a build a page album by Paper Phenomenon. I used the DCDV Nana's Kids for the paper. Since the parents do not know if they are having a boy or girl I made this as neutral as possible.

As you can see there is a lot of room for photos and keep sake items. The first year of life is so full of precious moments. From the first bath, first word and even first laughs.

12 pages of the album as dedicated to the first 12 months of life. A photo each month to show how fast the peanut is growing. The rest of the album is for the special moments.
